Tracey Katona

Tracey Katona is a certified Romana's Pilates Instructor.  A former professional ballerina, she began Pilates to stay healthy throughout her ballet career. After retirement from ballet, she moved to the west coast  and began teaching at a prominent athletic company where her knowledge and eye for form has made her the most sought after Pilates Instructor there. Tracey has taught at Oregon Ballet Theatre and trained many professional athletes and celebrities including LeBron James, Antonio Brown, Melanie Griffith, Emily Infeld, Evan Jager, Channing Frye, Chris Paul, Lindsey Vonn, Adam and Kara Goucher and many more.  In 2013 Miss Katona choreographed Michelle Obama's launch of the Let's Move Active Schools initiative. For over 10 years now Tracey serves as a featured instructor for Canyon Ranch Spas. In addition to launching Katona Pilates this year, Tracey also has added technical advisor to her resume working on photo shoots and video for movement for several athletic brands.  Her passion and purpose is teaching and supporting people to move with quality, control and grace through the work of Joe Pilates.

Somie Lim

 Romana’s Pilates International Certified Instructor | Former EICU Nurse | Former NASM - Certified Personal Trainer 

Somie Lim is a certified Romana’s Pilates International instructor and a former EICU nurse from Korea. Working in the intensive care unit, she witnessed the challenges of recovery firsthand and came to deeply value the connection between physical health and mental well-being.  After her nursing career, Somie earned her certification as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and guided clients in weight training and functional fitness. This experience laid a strong foundation for her approach to Pilates, blending medical knowledge with fitness expertise. She later completed the Romana’s Pilates International Teacher Training Program under Roxane Richards Huang and Tracey Katona where she trained with diverse clients ranging from beginners to advanced movers. Somie is dedicated to sharing the harmony of body and mind through Pilates. Her philosophy is simple: “A healthy mind resides in a healthy body.”
